The LANTAC USA Carbine Length Nitride Gas Tube is a precision-manufactured AR-15 replacement gas tube machined from stainless steel extruded tube and finished with a durable Black Nitride (Melonite) surface treatment. Sized for carbine-length builds, this tube routes propellant gas from the gas block to the bolt carrier group and is a critical component for reliable cycling on any standard AR-15 upper.
The Black Nitride finish significantly enhances corrosion resistance and delivers superior heat and erosion resistance over standard un-treated stainless gas tubes, helping the tube hold up to the high-temperature, high-pressure gas stream of sustained semi-auto fire. Each tube is precision machined to exact tolerances for proper concentric fit and a positive gas seal with the gas block and upper receiver.
Designed as a direct replacement / upgrade gas tube, this LANTAC USA carbine-length tube installs in place of the factory unit on any standard AR-15 upper and is matched to carbine-length handguards and the standard AR-15 gas block journal. The package ships complete with the gas tube roll pin needed for installation.
