Description
The LANTAC USA Timing Shim Set is a precision stainless steel shim kit designed to properly time and align 5/8×24 threaded muzzle devices and suppressor mounts on .308 Winchester / 7.62mm barrels. Made in the USA, these shims let you fine-tune the clocking of muzzle brakes, blast deflectors and suppressor adapters so ports, vents and mounting lugs sit exactly where intended without changing concentric lock-up.
The 5/8×24 thread pitch is the standard threading used on most .308 / 7.62 NATO rifle barrels and pairs with LANTAC muzzle brakes and other aftermarket 5/8×24 muzzle devices and suppressor mounts. Stacked shims sit between the barrel shoulder and the device to dial in rotational alignment.
The set ships with a range of thicknesses so you can mix and match to hit the timing you need:
- 1 x .41mm shim
- 3 x .25mm shims
- 3 x .13mm shims
- 3 x .075mm shims
- 1 x 2mm washer
