The KGM Suppressors A-TMB-S-5 is a precision taper muzzle brake machined from heat-treated chromoly steel and cut with an M18x1 thread pattern. Part of KGM’s taper-mount muzzle device family, this brake functions as a radial compensator that redirects propellant gases to manage recoil and muzzle rise while also serving as the mounting interface for KGM’s R30T, R65T, and R338 series suppressors.
Built for shooters who want a quality muzzle brake with the option to add a KGM suppressor later, the A-TMB-S-5 lets the end user move between an un-suppressed brake configuration and a fully suppressed setup using the same muzzle interface. The heat-treated chromoly construction is made to handle the high temperatures of repeated fire while keeping overall weight to just 0.205 lbs. Per KGM’s taper mount manual, the device is tightened to 25-45 ft-lbs for proper installation.
Thread the A-TMB-S-5 directly onto any barrel cut with M18x1 threads, or pair it with a compatible KGM R30T, R65T, or R338 suppressor to take advantage of the refined gas-flow performance of KGM’s taper mount system in a compact package measuring 2.3″ wide by 4.4″ long by 1.7″ tall.
