The Kershaw Chive 1600 is a compact USA-made EDC folding knife built around a 1.90″ 420HC stainless steel drop-point blade with a bead-blasted finish. At just 1.70 oz and 4.80″ overall, the Chive rides nearly flat in the pocket and is a proven sub-2″ cutter for everyday carry, package opening, and general utility.
Deployment runs through Kershaw’s SpeedSafe assisted-opening system via the flipper tab or dual thumb studs for right- or left-handed use. The plain edge drops into a secure frame lock cut directly into the 410 stainless steel handle, which carries the same bead-blasted finish as the blade. A single-position pocket clip keeps the knife secured for everyday pocket carry, and the whole package is Made in the USA.
