Description
The Kershaw Barstow 3960 is a compact everyday-carry folding knife built around a 3″ spear point blade ground from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and finished with Kershaw’s signature BlackWash black-oxide coating that gives the steel a worn-in, non-reflective look while helping to hide everyday scratches.
Designed for fast one-handed deployment, the Barstow runs on Kershaw’s SpeedSafe assisted opening system activated by a flipper tab integrated into the blade spine. The symmetrical spear point profile pairs a fine piercing tip with a shallow belly, making the 3″ plain-edge blade a versatile cutter for daily box opening, utility chores, and general EDC tasks. It closes to a pocket-friendly 4″ and rides at just 3.4 oz, with an overall length of 7″.
Handle construction uses black glass-filled nylon (GFN) scales for a durable, lightweight frame with a secure grip in the hand. A reversible pocket clip is included for tip-up or tip-down carry on either side.
