Description
The Kel-Tec RDB Defender is a semi-automatic bullpup rifle built around a unique downward ejection system that routes spent brass straight down through the action. Chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO (also compatible with .223 Remington), the Defender runs on a short-stroke gas-piston operating system through a 16.1″ barrel and keeps overall length to roughly 27″.
The action is completely ambidextrous and feeds from standard detachable magazines with a 20-round capacity. The OD Green polymer receiver, collapsible buttstock, and M-LOK handguard combine for a distinctive package that supports modern accessory mounting. The bullpup layout places the action behind the trigger group for balanced handling in a compact package, with an unloaded weight of approximately 6.7 lbs.
