The Howa M1500 Mini Action Hunter is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6mm ARC, built around Howa’s Mini Action platform whose bolt and receiver are roughly 12 percent shorter than a standard short action – properly sized for 223-length cartridges without the extra bulk of a full-size action.
At its core sits a 20″ carbon fiber wrapped barrel with a 1:8″ twist and a threaded muzzle, paired with a black drilled and tapped steel receiver ready for scope base mounting. The overall length is 38.75″, and the rifle tips the scales in the 6 lbs to 6.99 lbs range – light enough to carry comfortably through a full day in the field.
A walnut fixed stock wears a warm brown finish and traditional hunting lines, with no iron sights installed so the rifle ships ready for optic mounting. Controls include a crisp two-stage match trigger and a three-position safety. This is a right-hand configuration with a 5+1 capacity.
