Description
The Howa M1500 Fence Line is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in the long-range 7mm PRC cartridge and finished for serious brush-country work. It pairs a 24″ threaded barrel and a drilled and tapped receiver, both treated with a tough Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish, with a fixed synthetic stock wearing Scorched Earth camouflage. A factory muzzle brake tames recoil at the muzzle, while the bolt cycles a 3+1 capacity with a fast 90-degree bolt throw for quick follow-up shots behind the optic.
The Howa Action Control Trigger (HACT) is a user-adjustable two-stage trigger designed for a clean, crisp break, and a traditional 3-position safety lets the shooter safely unload with the bolt open. The aluminum receiver is drilled and tapped to accept standard scope bases, and the barrel is hammer-forged with a fast 1:8″ twist. The threaded barrel and Howa’s sub-MOA accuracy guarantee make this rifle a complete long-range platform right out of the box.
Built on Howa’s right-hand M1500 action, the Fence Line tips the scales at 8.50 lbs empty with an overall length of 46.75″, balancing steady in the off-hand but light enough to pack all day. The fixed synthetic stock is finished in Howa’s Scorched Earth pattern – a high-contrast blend of browns, tans and blacks that breaks up the rifle’s outline against brush, sage and timber. Sights are not included, allowing the shooter to choose and mount a preferred optic on the drilled and tapped receiver.
