Description
The Howa 1500 Fence Line is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .308 Winchester, built on Howa’s proven M1500 action. It pairs a 22″ hammer-forged threaded barrel finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote with a matching Cerakoted aluminum receiver that is drilled and tapped for optic mounting.
At the heart of the Fence Line sits Howa’s two-lug M1500 bolt action with a 90-degree bolt throw for smooth cycling and ample scope clearance. The rifle holds 4+1 rounds of .308 Winchester and uses the company’s HACT two-stage trigger for a clean, consistent pull. A three-position safety allows the action to be operated with a round still in the chamber. The barrel is cut with a 1:10″ twist and is factory-threaded for the included muzzle brake.
A fixed Prairie Reaper camouflage synthetic stock finishes out the build, giving the rifle a distinctive field-ready profile. With an overall length of 45.25″ and a weight of about 8 lbs, the Fence Line is a balanced, full-length configuration suited to a variety of hunting and field applications. The receiver ships with no iron sights installed, ready for the shooter’s preferred optic on the factory drilled-and-tapped bases. Right-hand configuration. Made in Japan by Howa Machinery, Ltd.
