The Hornady Universal Decapping Pins are replacement decapping pins for the Hornady Universal Decapping Die. This 6-pack of small pins keeps reloaders supplied with fresh pins on hand so spent primers can be punched cleanly out of fired cases before cleaning, inspecting, and recharging.
Each pin is manufactured from stainless steel with a silver finish and sized small for use with the Universal Decapping Die (sold separately). Once installed in the die body, the pin drives the spent primer out of the primer pocket so the brass can be prepped for the next reload.
