The Hornady ELD-X is a technologically advanced polymer-tipped hunting bullet, match-accurate and engineered as an all-range hunting projectile with a highest-in-class ballistic coefficient. This 25 caliber (.257″) 128 grain bullet delivers high velocity and effective performance from 0 to 400 yards.
Counted out 100 per box, these jacketed projectiles (not lead-free) feature Hornady’s signature polymer tip that initiates expansion at the front of the bullet on impact. The ELD-X retains 50-60% of its original weight through the target for deep penetration and large wound cavities.
At 128 grain in .257″ (25 caliber) diameter, this is the same projectile Hornady loads in its 25 Creedmoor 128 gr Precision Hunter factory ammunition, making it a natural choice for handloaders building all-range hunting loads in 25 caliber cartridges.
