Inspired by the cut-down rifles made famous on mid-century television, the Mare’s Leg condenses the Henry lever-action into a pistol-format platform that can be holstered like a handgun while retaining the smooth, reliable action of a Henry repeater.
This model features a 12.88″ round barrel and a tubular magazine holding 8+1 rounds of .22 Magnum. Sighting is handled by a traditional blade front and adjustable rear sight pair, and the hammer uses a 1/4 cock half-cock safety. The overall length is 24.50″ and the pistol weighs 4.50 lbs, striking a manageable balance for off-hand shooting from the hip or the bench.
