Description
The Henry Golden Boy Silver Large Loop is a premium rimfire lever-action rifle chambered in .22 S/L/LR and built in the USA by Henry Repeating Arms. This Silver edition sets a nickel-plated steel receiver off against a classic 20″ blued octagon barrel, producing the two-tone look that has defined the Golden Boy line since its introduction. The receiver is drilled and tapped for easy scope or red-dot mounting.
A smooth tubular magazine holds 16 rounds of .22 LR or up to 21 rounds of .22 Short, making this rifle a natural pick for plinking, small-game hunting, and casual range sessions where you want more shooting and less reloading. The signature large loop lever gives the action a wider, easier-to-grab surface for fast follow-up shots and comfortable use with gloved hands, a configuration long favored by cowboy-action shooters.
Iron sights are traditional: a brass bead front for a clean sight picture paired with an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear for windage and elevation. The hammer’s 1/4-cock position serves as the primary safety. A 1:16″ twist stabilizes standard .22 LR, .22 Long, and .22 Short ammunition alike.
Handling comes courtesy of a fixed American walnut stock in a warm brown finish, joined by a matching buttplate and barrel band for a clean, traditional silhouette. The rifle measures 38.50″ overall, weighs 6.75 lbs, and is set up for right-hand shooters. Made in America, the Golden Boy Silver Large Loop blends old-school lever-action character with the versatility of the .22 rimfire chambering.
