The Hawke Sport Optics Vantage IR 4-12x40mm is a purpose-built rimfire riflescope designed around the ballistics of the .22 WMR cartridge. Housed in a rugged 1″ main tube with a matte black finish, this scope pairs a versatile 4-12x magnification range with a 40mm objective lens to deliver a focused, long-range shooting solution for plinking, varmint hunting, and small-game pest control.
Optics are 11-layer fully multi-coated for maximum light transmission and edge-to-edge clarity, while the precision glass-etched Rimfire .22 WMR reticle is engineered to be zeroed at 12x magnification and 100 yards, providing accurate bullet drop compensating aim points out to 325 yards. The reticle is illuminated in both red and green with multiple brightness settings, giving shooters a clear aiming reference in low light or against dark targets. An adjustable objective (AO) parallax correction allows the shooter to dial out parallax error at varying distances for improved accuracy.
Built to survive field use, the Vantage IR is shockproof, waterproof, and fog proof, with 1/4 MOA low-profile no-snag fingertip turrets for clean, repeatable adjustments. The scope measures 13.60″ in overall length, weighs 18.10 oz, and offers a generous 3.50″ of eye relief with a field of view ranging from 26.20 ft to 8.70 ft at 100 yards. The Vantage IR ships with lens covers and a lens cloth, ready to mount on a rimfire rifle right out of the box.
