The Hatsan Optima 3-9×40 AO is a purpose-built variable-power scope designed for air rifle use. Offered by Hatsan Airguns, the Optima pairs a versatile 3-9x magnification range with a generous 40mm objective lens to deliver a bright, clear sight picture across a wide range of shooting distances.
An adjustable objective (AO) at the front of the scope lets the shooter dial out parallax error and sharpen focus at varying ranges, while fully multi-coated optics maximize light transmission for a crisp image. The second-focal-plane Mil-Dot reticle provides proven holdover and ranging references, and the scope clicks in precise 1/4 MOA adjustments so zeroing is straightforward.
Built on a standard 1-inch tube, the Optima measures 13.0 inches overall and weighs just 12 ounces, making it well-suited to nearly any airgun platform. The scope is dry and shock resistant to handle the unique recoil characteristics of air rifles.
