Description
The Guntec USA Mini Slip-Over Barrel Shroud is a compact, dual-purpose muzzle device for the AR-15 platform. It works as both a barrel shroud and a multi-port muzzle compensator, giving shooters a heat shield over a hot barrel while also helping direct muzzle gas for better recoil management.
Machined from T6 aluminum and made in the USA, the unit slips over the barrel and threads down from the inside onto a standard 1/2×28 thread. The multi-port “gatling gun” style port pattern is designed to reduce felt recoil up to 70%, and the same 1/2×28 thread pitch makes the device compatible with most 5.56 NATO rifles and pistols, as well as 9mm AR builds.
At just 2.375″ long and only 2.9 oz, the Mini profile keeps your build light and compact. Threads begin approximately 1.25″ down the shroud, so the host barrel needs sufficient exposed length for proper installation.
