Description
The Franklin Armory M4-HTF R3 XTD is a semi-auto AR-platform rifle chambered in 350 Legend. This XTD variant is built around a 16″ light contour barrel with a 1:12 twist.
The aluminum upper and lower receivers are finished in Hard Coat Type III anodized black. The receiver is optic ready out of the box, ready to accept a red dot, low-power variable, or traditional scope mount. A recoil-mitigating Aura XTD muzzle device is fitted at the crown to help control muzzle rise and soften felt recoil for faster follow-up shots.
Franklin Armory’s factory custom tuned trigger delivers a cleaner break than a stock Mil-Spec unit, while the controls remain familiar with a Mil-Spec safety selector. The rifle ships with a 10-round detachable magazine feeding a 10+1 total capacity, is set up for right-handed shooters, and weighs 6.80 lbs at an overall length of 31.50″.
Up front, the M4-pattern handguard provides real estate for accessories, and at the rear an adjustable B5 Bravo stock in black allows length-of-pull and cheek-weld adjustment to suit the shooter, paired with a black B5 pistol grip for a secure, ergonomic hold. The result is a purpose-built, factory-finished rifle that brings the modularity of the AR platform to the 350 Legend cartridge.
