The Federal Premium Prairie Storm FS in 20 Gauge is a 3″ lead shotshell engineered for upland bird hunting. Each shell is loaded with 1-1/4 oz of 6 lead shot at a muzzle velocity of 1300 fps, delivering a dense, fast-moving payload of pellets built to drop ringnecks and other upland game with authority.
At the heart of the Prairie Storm FS load is Federal’s FLITECONTROL FLEX wad. This rear-braking, sealed-base design holds the shot column together through the barrel and well past the choke, producing enhanced, more consistent patterns at hunting ranges compared to conventional wads.
The 3″ magnum hull gives this 20-gauge shell room to launch its full 1-1/4 oz payload of 6 lead shot with the momentum needed for upland birds. Whether you are pushing pheasants through heavy cover or working open country behind a pointing dog, this load is built to put more pellets on target.
