The Federal Premium Prairie Storm FS in 20 Gauge is a lead upland shotshell built around Federal’s proprietary FLITECONTROL wad and FLITESTOPPER (FS) lead shot. The FLITECONTROL wad holds the shot column together through the bore and releases a controlled payload at the muzzle, delivering the dense, predictable patterns hunters need on flushing upland birds.
This load carries a 1-1/4 oz payload of 4 lead shot at a published muzzle velocity of 1300 fps from a 3 in. shell. The longer magnum hull provides extra payload capacity for shots across open country, while the FLITECONTROL wad keeps the shot together downrange for tight, consistent patterns at typical upland ranges.
