Description
The Federal Fusion Component line brings the molecularly fused jacket and pressure-formed lead core construction used in Federal’s factory Fusion rifle ammunition to the reloading bench. These .264 caliber, 140 grain Fusion Soft Point bullets are built for handloaders assembling 6.5 Creedmoor hunting ammunition.
The copper jacket is bonded to the lead core at the molecular level, eliminating jacket-core separation and delivering the largest expansion and highest weight retention in its class. The pressure-formed lead core and copper jacket combination is engineered to produce consistent, controlled expansion on medium to large game, with a ballistic coefficient of .497 for excellent downrange performance.
Each component bullet measures .264 in diameter and weighs 140 gr, with a copper jacket over a lead core. Bullets are packed 100 per box, with 4 boxes per case (400 bullets per case). These Fusion Component projectiles are intended for handloading only and are not loaded ammunition.
