The Faxon Firearms Duty Series 9mm Luger AR-15 barrel is purpose-built for pistol-caliber carbine (PCC) and 9mm range builds. Machined from 4150 steel with a button-rifled bore, a 1:10 twist rate, and a SAAMI-spec 9mm Luger chamber, this 16″ barrel is set up for direct-blowback AR-15 platforms with no gas port to manage.
The light taper profile keeps weight down for a balanced carbine while preserving bore rigidity for repeatable accuracy, and the black salt bath (QPQ) nitride finish provides excellent corrosion and wear resistance for years of range use. Feed ramp geometry is cut to accept both Glock-pattern and Colt-pattern 9mm bolt carrier groups, so the barrel drops into most billet and forged 9mm upper receivers without additional fitting. Muzzle threads are cut at the common 1/2×28 pitch for standard 9mm muzzle devices or thread protectors.
