The Davide Pedersoli 1874 Old West is an Italian-made reproduction of the legendary Sharps single-shot rifle, chambered in the classic American big-bore 45-70 Government. Built around a traditional break-open action with a one-round capacity, this rifle captures the look and feel of the Old West with period-correct finishes and modern precision manufacturing by Davide Pedersoli.
The 30″ blued barrel is paired with a color case hardened steel receiver, delivering the distinctive mottled blue-and-charcoal patina that defined original Sharps rifles of the era. A 1:18 twist stabilizes heavy 45-70 projectiles, and the long 30″ barrel profile is well suited for hunting and traditional long-range shooting. Overall length measures 48.06″.
Furniture consists of a classic walnut wood stock in a warm brown finish, shaped for right-hand shooters. The rifle tips the scales at 11.46 lbs, giving the shooter steady control of the powerful 45-70 Gov cartridge. This is a current-production Davide Pedersoli reproduction made in Italy.
