The Dan Wesson DWX Compact is a 9mm Luger single-action semi-automatic pistol purpose-built for concealed carry and defensive use. It blends the grip geometry and trigger feel of a classic 1911 with the proven magazine interface of the CZ P-09/P-10 family, delivering a premium carry pistol with modern capacity and red-dot-ready ergonomics.
At the core of the DWX Compact is a 4.95-inch match-grade bull barrel mated to a black DLC-coated steel slide. The slide is optic ready with a clean top cut for direct-mount red dots and features front and rear cocking serrations for easy press checks and slide manipulation. A rigid black aluminum frame with an integrated beavertail anchors the package and keeps overall weight down without sacrificing the lockup a precision barrel requires.
The DWX Compact holds 10+1 rounds of 9mm Luger via a CZ-pattern magazine, combining familiar defensive capacity with widely available magazines. The single-action-only trigger is paired with a positive thumb safety for safe carry, and black textured aluminum grips provide a secure hold while shaving weight. Overall length is 7.47 inches, making it well-suited to inside-the-waistband and appendix carry.
