Description
The CZ 457 Varmint is a purpose-built bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in 22 WMR, designed for varmint hunters and precision shooters who want a heavy-barrel platform in a magnum rimfire cartridge. The action feeds from a 5-round detachable magazine and uses the modernized CZ 457 platform with its interchangeable barrel system and improved trigger geometry.
The 20.5″ heavy barrel features a cylindrical .866″ profile and is finished in Black Nitride over stainless steel. The receiver is also machined from stainless steel with a matching Black Nitride finish. The rifle ships with no iron sights installed.
The fixed varmint-style stock is crafted from Turkish Walnut with a brown/tan finish, giving the rifle a classic field look paired with the practical heavy-barrel configuration. An adjustable trigger and a two-position safety complete the controls. Overall length is 38.62″ and the rifle weighs in at 7.08 lbs for steady off-hand and supported shooting.
