The CVA Scout XP is a modernized take on the classic scout rifle concept, chambered in 450 Bushmaster for hunters who want hard-hitting performance for big-game hunting and field use. It pairs a 20″ threaded stainless steel barrel with a matching stainless receiver in a matte finish, built to handle weather and hard use in the field.
The barrel features a 1:24 twist optimized for stabilizing heavy 450 Bushmaster projectiles and is threaded 11/16×24 for easy mounting of muzzle accessories. With no iron sights included, the Scout XP is set up to run an optic from day one – the receiver is topped with a Picatinny rail for straightforward scope or red dot mounting.
Up front, the rifle wears a graphite black adjustable synthetic stock with an adjustable buffer-tube-style design so length of pull can be dialed in to fit the shooter. Bolt-on cheek risers help line the eye up with mounted optics, and the integrated pistol grip keeps hand position consistent behind the action. A hammer block safety rounds out the controls on this purpose-built single shot.
