Description
The CVA Cascade XT is CVA’s premium big-game hunting configuration of the proven Cascade bolt-action platform, here chambered in the modern long-range 7mm PRC magnum cartridge. It is built on a right-hand bolt action with a steel receiver and a two-position safety, aimed at hunters who want reach, repeatable accuracy, and rugged field construction at a working price.
At the heart of the rifle sits a 24″ 4140 chromoly steel barrel cut to a heavy 5 taper fluted profile and finished in Graphite Black Cerakote for corrosion resistance and reduced glare. The barrel is threaded 5/8×24 and ships with CVA’s radial muzzle brake pre-installed to tame felt recoil from the magnum cartridge, while the 1:8″ twist stabilizes the long, high-BC projectiles the 7mm PRC was developed around. Factory sights are not included; the receiver is optics-ready for user-supplied glass or iron solutions.
The Cascade XT feeds from a detachable box magazine with a 4+1 capacity, and one 4-round magazine is included from the factory. Overall length is 46″. The stock is CVA’s fiberglass-reinforced synthetic dressed in Realtree Hillside concealment camouflage with a soft-gripping SoftTouch finish, and the adjustable length-of-pull lets the rifle be dialed in for shooters across a wide range of builds.
