The CVA Cascade XT is the precision-oriented evolution of CVA’s popular Cascade bolt-action platform, chambered in the modern long-range 7mm PRC cartridge. This XT configuration pairs a 24-inch heavy fluted steel barrel finished in Midnight Bronze Cerakote with an integrated Picatinny optics rail machined directly into the steel receiver, giving shooters a rock-solid mounting platform for long-range optics. The barrel carries a 1:8″ twist rate optimized for stabilizing a wide range of 7mm PRC bullet weights, and the muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 for suppressor or muzzle-device fitment. A radial muzzle brake ships installed to help tame magnum-class recoil.
The action uses an oversized bolt with a smooth, short-throw feel and feeds from a detachable box magazine providing a 2+1 capacity. The user-adjustable trigger lets shooters dial in pull weight and creep to taste. The right-hand synthetic stock is finished in Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage and uses an adjustable length-of-pull system so the rifle can be tailored to different shooters or heavy winter layers, while the synthetic construction keeps total weight around 7.90 lbs. Combining a fluted and threaded barrel, corrosion-resistant Cerakote finish, modern magnum chambering, and a stable camo-clad stock, the Cascade XT is purpose-built for western big game, midwestern whitetails, and any hunt where modern magnum ballistics and a steady shooting platform matter.
