Description
The CVA Cascade Varmint Hunter is a purpose-built bolt-action rifle chambered in 22-250 Rem, designed specifically for predator and varmint hunters who demand flat-shooting accuracy and follow-up speed. Taking its cues from the Cascade Long Range Hunter, this rifle pairs a heavy-contour barrel with a rigid, fully adjustable stock to deliver consistent precision whether you’re calling coyotes across a bean field or punching paper at the range.
At the heart of the rifle is a 20″ threaded barrel finished in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote, mated to a matching Cerakoted steel receiver fitted with an integrated Picatinny optics rail. The heavy barrel contour promotes repeatable harmonics and manages heat during extended strings of fire, and the 1:12″ twist rate is well suited to common varmint-weight .22-250 projectiles. The threaded muzzle accepts standard 5/8×24 muzzle accessories.
Feeding is handled by a smooth bolt action and a detachable 10-round magazine for a 10+1 capacity. The rifle is outfitted with an adjustable trigger for a clean, personalized break and a simple two-position safety. The Krytek Highlander synthetic stock features an adjustable comb and adjustable length of pull with a removable spacer, allowing the shooter to dial in a proper cheek weld and fit for prone, benchrest, or sticks positions.
Weighing in at 8.70 lbs with an overall length of 42″, the Cascade Varmint Hunter is a substantial but well-balanced package that tracks naturally and tames the lively .22-250 cartridge. Sights are intentionally omitted – this rifle is built to be paired with the shooter’s preferred optic on the factory-installed Picatinny rail.
