Description
The CVA 209 Conversion Kit (AC1696) converts CVA muzzleloaders equipped with a quick-removable Northwest (musket-cap) breech plug to modern 209 primer ignition. Once installed, the muzzleloader uses standard 209 shotgun primers in place of percussion caps.
This conversion kit is specifically engineered for the CVA Accura, Optima, and Wolf series muzzleloaders produced in 2010 and newer. Installation involves removing the existing Northwest breech plug and replacing the cap-style ignition components with the included 209 conversion parts.
The AC1696 kit includes:
- 209 firing pin (1)
- Firing spring (1)
- Retainer-bushing (1)
- O-ring
All components required to complete the conversion to 209 primer ignition are supplied.
