Description
The Crimson Trace Laserguard is a compact red laser sight purpose-built for the Springfield Armory Hellcat micro-compact pistol. The unit wraps around the pistol’s trigger guard for a clean, no-modification install, and activates instinctively the moment the Hellcat is held in a normal firing grip. The polymer housing is contoured specifically to the Hellcat frame so it sits flush without interfering with the slide or holstering.
The Laserguard projects a bright red beam at a 5 mW peak output rated Class 3R, with a wavelength in the 620-670 nm range and a measured dot of roughly 0.5″ at 50 feet for fast, intuitive sight acquisition in defensive and low-light use. An onboard master override switch lets the shooter hard-off the unit when desired, while the instinctive activation pad runs the laser only while the pistol is held.
Power is supplied by a single CR1/3N battery accessed from the bottom of the housing, delivering over 4 hours of continuous run time. The housing is built from tough black polymer with a matte black finish that matches factory Hellcat styling, and the whole unit measures just 3.6″ long, 1″ wide, and 2.2″ tall so it adds minimal bulk to a carry pistol.
