Description
The Columbia River Snap Lock (CRKT 5102N) is an Ed Van Hoy designed folding everyday carry knife built around a distinctive cam-action snap lock mechanism. To open, depress the top of the cam and rotate the 2.55″ drop point blade 180 degrees from the handle – a simple, robust system that has earned the Snap Lock recognition as one of the most decorated CRKT designs of all time.
The plain-edge blade is cut from 420J2 stainless steel and finished with a non-reflective bead-blasted surface. Overall length deployed measures 6.25″, with a 4.21″ closed length that keeps the knife slim in the pocket, and a total carry weight of just 2.50 oz.
The frame uses stainless steel construction and incorporates two carry features on the handle: an integrated money clip on the reverse and a tip-up pocket clip mounted for fast, secure access. The single-blade, drop-point configuration makes the Snap Lock a versatile utility folder for daily carry, package opening, and general outdoor tasks.
