The Colt Python returns in its modern double-action form, chambered for both .357 Magnum and .38 Special. This 2.5-inch configuration places the brand’s classic Snake Gun silhouette into a compact, all-stainless package sized for everyday use and the range alike.
Built around a bead-blasted matte stainless steel frame and cylinder, the Python features an exposed hammer for traditional single-action shooting alongside a smooth double-action trigger pull. A 2.50-inch barrel and 6-shot cylinder keep the profile compact, while a fiber optic front sight paired with an adjustable rear sight delivers a fast, intuitive sight picture for both close and deliberate work.
Hogue rubber grips cushion recoil and provide a secure hold against the matte-finish hardware. The revolver weighs in at approximately 2.10 lbs, well-balanced for its compact frame without losing the heft and recoil management that has long defined the Python platform.
