The Cold Steel Recon 1 Micro is a compact, easy-to-carry folding pocket knife built for everyday cutting tasks. It features a 2″ spear point blade ground from 4034 stainless steel with a stonewashed finish that helps hide scratches from daily use, paired with a plain edge for clean, controlled cuts.
The handle is molded from black Griv-Ex, a tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon that keeps the knife light at just 1.10 oz while providing a secure grip. Cold Steel’s signature Tri-Ad lock locks the blade solidly open during use for safety and strength, and a pocket clip is included for convenient tip-up carry. The folder closes down to a compact 3.88″ length so it rides comfortably in a pocket without printing.
With an overall length of 4.38″ when opened, the Recon 1 Micro disappears in a pocket but deploys into a usable little cutter. It ships as a brand-new Cold Steel folder, ready for everyday carry, light outdoor chores, or as a reliable backup blade.
