The Cold Steel Commercial Series Big Country Skinner is a purpose-built big-game skinning knife with an upswept trailing point profile that follows the natural curve of a hide for clean, controlled slicing. Part of Cold Steel’s value-priced Commercial Series, it delivers the cutting performance hunters and processors need at an accessible price point.
The 6″ blade is made from cryo-quenched German 4116 stainless steel, finished with a satin polish and a flat grind optimized for low-drag cuts and easy re-sharpening in camp or at the workbench. Blade stock measures 2 mm thick – thin enough to glide through hide and membrane without dragging.
The handle is molded from tough, weather-resistant Kray-Ex, textured for a secure grip in wet, cold, or gloved hands during long processing sessions. Overall length measures 11.25″ with a 5.25″ handle, and the knife is light and well balanced for long working sessions. Made in Taiwan to Cold Steel’s exacting quality standards.
