Description
The CobraTec Cyclone is part of CobraTec’s Hidden Release series – a compact automatic folding knife built around a concealed release button in the handle that fires the blade open with the push of a hidden mechanism. It carries a 3″ D2 tool steel blade finished in black TiCN (titanium carbonitride) for added wear and corrosion resistance, ground to a clean plain edge profile suited to everyday cutting tasks.
The blade rides in a 4″ black handle CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a fragmented “frag” pattern texture for positive grip. Total overall length comes to 7″ with the blade deployed, and carry weight is a trim 2.70 oz. A right-hand pocket clip rounds out the daily-carry package, and the lightweight aluminum construction keeps the Cyclone slim enough to drop into a pocket and disappear.
Built as a true CobraTec EDC auto folder, the Cyclone pairs the edge-holding performance of D2 tool steel with the lightweight strength of 6061-T6 aluminum in a compact, pocket-friendly package.
