Description
The Cimarron Model P is a faithful reproduction of the classic pre-war Single Action Army pattern, chambered in .45 Colt and built on Cimarron’s traditional pre-war frame. This revolver pairs a 4.75″ barrel with a six-shot cylinder and a color case hardened steel frame finished to evoke the hand-fitting of the 1896-1940 era.
The Model P features a blued barrel and blued cylinder paired with a color case hardened steel frame, delivering the distinctive two-tone look collectors associate with original Colts of the pre-war period. An exposed hammer cycles the single-action mechanism, while a wide front sight provides a traditional sight picture down the top of the barrel. Walnut grips round out the period-correct package, and the revolver tips the scales at 2.48 lbs.
This is the classic Single Action Army format reimagined for the modern shooter, with Cimarron’s well-regarded fit and finish. The Model P is an ideal sixgun for cowboy action shooting, Old West reenactment, and display, and it rounds out a SAA-pattern collection with a true pre-war style revolver in .45 Colt.
