The Cimarron Frontier is a faithful reproduction of the legendary Colt Single Action Army revolver, chambered here in the dual-purpose 357 Magnum / 38 Special configuration. Built in the Old Model style that mirrors the pre-1896 “Peacemaker” design, this six-shooter accepts both 357 Magnum and 38 Special ammunition while preserving the look and feel of the original Old West sidearm.
This Frontier wears a 4.75-inch barrel paired with a 6-shot cylinder. The frame is finished in the iconic Color Case Hardened treatment Cimarron is known for, while the barrel and cylinder carry a deep polished blued finish. Traditional fixed iron sights are installed at the front and rear of the barrel, and walnut grips complement the period-correct styling. At 39.68 oz unloaded, the Frontier has the heft and balance characteristic of a single-action revolver.
As an Old Model design, the Frontier operates in the traditional single-action-only manner, with the hammer cocked before each shot. It is fitted with Cimarron’s standard trigger and is not drilled and tapped for optic mounting. A versatile choice for Cowboy Action Shooting, western reenactment, plinking, or collecting a handsome piece of American firearms heritage.
