Description
The Bergara Premier MgLite is an ultralight precision rifle built around Bergara’s proprietary Premier bolt action and chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Designed for backcountry hunters and long-range shooters who count every ounce, the MgLite pairs a CURE carbon fiber wrapped barrel with an ultralight XLR Element magnesium chassis to deliver a full-size bolt-action rifle that tips the scales at just 6.70 lbs.
At the heart of the MgLite is Bergara’s Premier action, featuring a non-rotating gas shield, a coned bolt nose, and a fully fluted bolt body. The action is mated to a 22″ carbon fiber wrapped barrel with a 1:10″ twist, threaded at the muzzle and capped with Bergara’s signature Omni Muzzle Brake for tame recoil and fast follow-up shots. The stainless steel receiver wears a low-glare Graphite Black Cerakote finish, and the action is bedded into an XLR Element folding chassis finished in Flat Dark Earth, with a magnesium construction that keeps weight down without sacrificing rigidity.
The rifle accepts a detachable AICS-pattern magazine for a total capacity of 5+1, and overall length measures 43″. A premium TriggerTech trigger delivers a crisp, clean break, and a two-position safety sits within easy reach of the shooter’s thumb. No iron sights are included, allowing the shooter to mount their preferred optic. The right-hand configuration rounds out a rifle purpose-built for mountain hunters, backcountry shooters, and precision enthusiasts who want a feature-rich bolt gun they can carry all day.
