Description
The Bergara B-14 HMR (Hunting and Match Rifle) is a left-hand bolt-action rifle chambered in 308 Win, designed for both hunting and competition use. Bergara built the HMR around repeatable bedding and accuracy, integrating a mini-chassis directly into the stock to lock the action in place.
The 20″ barrel is machined from 4140 CrMo steel in a 6 contour and finished in Graphite Black Cerakote for corrosion and heat resistance. It is fully free-floated so the stock never contacts the barrel, threaded at the muzzle for a suppressor or muzzle brake, and rifled with a 1:10″ twist for a broad range of .308 projectiles from lighter hunting bullets through heavier match-grade loads.
The barreled action is housed in a Black Speckled Brown molded stock with an integrated mini-chassis. The stock offers adjustable length of pull and an adjustable cheek piece, letting the shooter dial in eye relief and comb height for prone work or behind a bench. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases and is configured for left-hand operation. A curved trigger and a two-position safety round out the action controls. Detachable magazine capacity is 5+1.
Overall length measures 39.50″ and the rifle tips the scales at 9.50 lbs, placing the HMR in the versatile all-around category that handles hunting, range, and light precision work. Sights are Drilled & Tapped, so the rifle ships ready for a scope base and rings of your choice.
