The Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus is a 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun purpose-built for waterfowl and upland hunting, with a 3.5″ chamber that cycles the heaviest magnum loads. A Steelium barrel paired with the Optima-Choke HP choke system delivers consistent patterns across lead and steel shot.
This configuration is built around a 28″ vent-rib barrel and a 2+1 capacity, running 51″ tip to tip at a carry-friendly 7.40 lbs. The receiver is machined from dark gray aluminum and treated with Beretta’s Aqua Technology protective coating for corrosion resistance in wet weather and salt-heavy marshes. Up top sits a simple bead sight, paired with a chrome-plated trigger and a crossbolt safety for fast, positive manipulation in the field.
The black synthetic Kick-Off stock reduces felt recoil through Beretta’s integrated recoil-dampening system, taking the bite out of long days of magnum shooting. Five Optima-Choke HP tubes are included – F, IM, M, IC, and C – giving hunters a full spread of constrictions for waterfowl and upland applications. Built for right-handed shooters, the A400 Xtreme Plus pairs its dark gray metal finish with a black synthetic stock.
