The BCM Stock Mod 2 SOPMOD is a high-performance collapsible buttstock built on the widebody SOPMOD platform and molded from durable polymer in a Flat Dark Earth finish. Designed and manufactured in the USA (Hartland, WI), this stock is an upgrade over the baseline M4 stock, delivering improved ergonomics and next-level durability for hard-use rifle setups.
BCM’s patented semi-clubfoot design (U.S. Patent D901616) recontours the rear of the stock for better comfort and control, including in the prone position. An extended cheek weld (widebody) provides a stable, repeatable mounting surface, while the snag-free exterior lines and integrated QD sling sockets keep the stock ready for duty or defensive rifle builds. A removable buttpad rounds out the package for straightforward service or replacement.
The Mod 2 SOPMOD fits Mil-Spec carbine receiver extensions and is also optimized for intermediate-length tubes including MK2, AR-10, and A5 patterns. Drop it onto any AR-15/M4 platform running a Mil-Spec carbine buffer tube for a cleaner, more ergonomic shoulder mount.
