The ATN Thor 5 XD is a high-performance thermal rifle scope built around a 1280×1024 HD thermal sensor running at 60 fps with a 12 micron pixel pitch. This 4-40x model pairs its extreme magnification range with a Smart Mil Dot reticle that adjusts dynamically with zoom across the entire power band, giving shooters a precise holdover reference at every magnification setting.
Designed for hunting and long-range thermal work, the Thor 5 XD combines an Xtreme Definition 1.3 megapixel thermal sensor with ATN’s quad-core processor to deliver sharp, high-contrast thermal imagery. The scope mounts on standard 30mm rings and is finished in matte Black Anodized to cut glare and shrug off field abuse. A field of view of 8.80 x 6.60 degrees keeps target scanning fast at low power while the upper end of the magnification range reaches out for distant shots.
Power comes from a built-in Li-ion rechargeable battery rated for 10+ hours of continuous operation, and the optic offers a maximum focus range of 4000 meters for early detection of heat signatures. The Generation 5 thermal platform keeps the image smooth while you work the magnification ring, and the scope’s 1.93 lb weight keeps the host rifle well balanced even on magnum-recoiling platforms.
