The ATN PS31-HPT is a compact, lightweight dual-tube binocular night vision device (BNVD) engineered as the modern replacement for the legacy PS-15. It is one of the smallest and lightest articulating NVG systems in its class, designed for comfortable extended wear and hands-free operation.
High-performance Gen 2+ image intensifier tubes deliver 23-25 SNR with 64-66 lp/mm resolution and white phosphor output, producing a natural black-and-white image that is easier on the eyes during long sessions than traditional green phosphor.
Optics include 1x magnification, an 18mm objective lens, and a wide 40-degree field of view. The unit focuses from 25 yards to infinity and offers -5 to +5 diopter adjustment for customized eye relief.
A built-in infrared illuminator provides supplemental lighting for extreme low-light or no-light operations. Power is supplied by a single CR123A battery rated for up to 300 hours of runtime, and the housing is finished in non-reflective matte black. Total weight is just 1.28 lbs.
The articulating dual-tube design lets each pod flip independently for use as a single monocular when situational awareness calls for one eye uncovered, and the unit can be outfitted with optional weapon mounts and accessory lenses to expand its capability.
