Description
The Area 419 Improved Bipod Picatinny Rail (IBR) is a precision-engineered bipod mounting solution for accuracy-focused rifles. This version ships with traditional T-Nut mounting hardware, making it the right pick for stocks and chassis systems that use sling studs or T-nut ready pockets rather than M-LOK attachment points.
Machined from a single piece of 7075-T651 aluminum and finished in a low-reflectance black anodize, the rail measures 4.8 inches long and provides 10 Picatinny slots – roughly 43% more mounting positions than competing rails. Every edge and corner is radiused for snag-free handling, with no sharp edges to bite into gear, gloves, or support bags.
The IBR accepts a wide range of factory screw spacing, accommodating center-to-center hole spacing from 1.5″ to 3.475″ for broad fitment across common precision-rifle stock and chassis patterns. A single full-width recoil lug keys into the mounting surface for a positive, repeatable lockup that resists shift under heavy recoil.
Installation hardware is included: the rail ships with the screws and T-nuts needed to drop it directly into a T-nut ready pocket or to mount in place of a standard sling stud. Once installed, any bipod equipped with a standard Picatinny clamp can be attached and repositioned along the rail to dial in the perfect fore-aft balance for prone or bench work.
