Description
The Ameriglo GL482 is an optic-compatible 5XL Tall iron sight set from Ameriglo’s suppressor-height sight line, designed to serve as backup or co-witness iron sights on Glock pistols carrying a mounted red dot optic.
Both the front and rear elements ride on a rugged steel frame finished in black. The front post uses green tritium lamps ringed by a white outline for fast daytime pickup and an always-visible reference in low light. The rear element is a low-visibility flat black unit, keeping the shooter’s eye on the bright front blade for a clean, uncluttered sight picture.
Front sight height is .407″ and rear sight height is .507″ – the dimensions that earn the set its 5XL Tall classification and allow the iron picture to clear and co-witness with full-size pistol-mounted red dots. The set fits Glock Gen 1-5 pistols (excluding the slim-frame 42, 43, and 48) and is fully compatible with Glock MOS models.
