The Alpha Foxtrot AF1911 Romulus brings modern engineering to the classic 1911 platform in 9mm Luger. This 4.25″ Standard variant pairs a precision CNC-machined stainless steel frame with a hammer-fired action, delivering the familiar 1911 manual of arms in a softer-shooting, high-capacity package.
Up top, the slide wears a serrated, optic-ready profile that accepts the MOS mounting footprint, allowing direct fitment of popular red-dot optics without custom machining. The matching black DLC finish is carried across the slide, frame, and barrel – the latter a 4.25″ bull-ramped stainless steel tube engineered for durability and consistent lockup.
Controls follow the traditional 1911 pattern with a grip safety and a thumb safety that pair naturally with the hammer-fired action. Polymer grips keep carry weight reasonable and shrug off hard range use. The pistol feeds from a 20-round detachable magazine, putting the Romulus near the top of the 1911-pattern capacity range.
