The MEC 650 Primer Seating Assembly is a factory replacement component for the MEC 650 progressive shotshell reloader in 12 Gauge. It is the self-cleaning primer seating assembly that delivers consistent primer seating depth on each stroke of the press.
The assembly includes the spring pad, seating spring, and seating post (guide post) – the three working parts that make up the MEC self-cleaning primer seating system. Built from steel with a black and silver finish, it is designed as a direct drop-in replacement on MEC 650 and 8567 progressive reloaders.
Replace the primer seating assembly when seating becomes inconsistent, primers are being mis-seated or crushed, or the existing post, spring, or pad show wear. A fresh assembly restores reliable primer placement and helps maintain safe, uniform shotshell reloads.
