The Taran Tactical Firepower Base Pad is a precision +5/+6 magazine extension engineered for S&W M&P full-size 9mm and .40 S&W pistol magazines. Designed by Taran Tactical Innovations to stay within the USPSA 140mm gauge, this base pad brings a 9mm M&P magazine to 23+1 rounds and a .40 S&W M&P magazine to 20+1 rounds for competition-legal capacity.
The pad is CNC machined from billet aluminum for a precise, drop-in fit on OEM M&P 9/40 full-size magazines. A flat black finish protects the pad from wear and corrosion during regular range and competition use. The added length provides a positive seating surface for faster reloads while keeping the factory magazine spring and follower.
