The MDT TIMBR Core Chassis Kit pairs a traditional wood-stock silhouette with a modern aluminum micro-chassis hidden inside. Clad in layered laminate wood, this stock gives a classic Remington 700 rifle the repeatable bedding and accessory compatibility of a precision-rifle build without sacrificing the look and feel of a sporter stock.
This CCL laminate variant is inlet for the Remington 700 Short Action in a right-hand configuration and uses MDT’s proven V-block bedding system to lock the barreled action solidly into the chassis. The forend is sized to accept Sendero-contour barrels up to the maximum barrel diameter, so Sendero-profile barrels seat cleanly without binding or contact.
Length of pull adjusts from 13.6″ to 14.3″ using the included spacers, allowing the same stock to fit a wide range of shooters. The bottom of the forend carries sling studs for bipod and sling attachment, and the internal aluminum chassis is AICS magazine compatible for detachable-box-mag conversions.
Overall length measures 32.6″ with an 11″ forend, striking a balance between classic sporter handling and chassis rigidity.
