The Cole-Tac SD Handguard Wrap is a heat-resistant protective sleeve designed to slip over the handguard of an AR-style rifle. At 6.5″ long in Ranger Green, this wrap shields the shooter’s support hand from the heat generated by rapid-fire strings and adds a tactile, slip-resistant grip surface for extended range sessions.
The wrap is built from two layers of laser-cut Squadron fabric laminated together, producing a thin but durable heat shield that contours to the handguard. Its pass-through slots are positioned so the shooter can still reach rail-mounted accessories, sling mounts, or switches without removing the cover. The matte finish keeps reflections down and blends with most field-ready rifle builds.
Designed to fit AR-15 and similar AR-platform handguards measuring 6.5″ long, this SD-series handguard accessory installs without permanent modification and adds only modest bulk to the rifle. Overall dimensions are 6.5″ x 3″ x 2″.
